Subject: Laundry as a Transport Pathway of Indoor Contaminants Accumulated on Textiles to Surface Waters

Your tasks:

• Developing and validating sample preparation and extraction methods for textiles, house dust and laundry water
• Analysis of indoor contaminants by LC/GC-HRMS
• Improving and automatizing the existing in-house data evaluation workflow by converting it into an R script.
• Establishing sampling campaigns not only for indoor environments such as restaurants and hair salons but also in three wastewater treatment plants
• Communication of the results to scientific audience

Your profile:

• Masters degree in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or similar
• Expertise in analytical chemistry, LC/GC-(HR)MS experience will be appreciated
• Background in statistical analysis and R-based programming
• Enjoying to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with international partners
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
