YOUR TEAM
The GIS AG is the B2B data unit for vehicle data of CARIAD. We are specialist for data-driven products and services. Thereby, we act as trusted partner and service provider for the VW Group. As an independent legal entity we are the linking pin between the Group brands as data owners, CARIAD as infrastructure developer and data users in Brands, Group and third parties.Our B2B data marketplace is the gateway to CARIADs future vehicle cloud data and various data points in the Groups legacy systems. Cross-brand collaboration ensures common data product offering, one face to the customer, common legal framework and common technology & distribution approach and hereby leverages and protects the Group data business. We apply our expertise to represent the Volkswagen Group in national and international private/public partnerships shaping the future of European data economics and the outside perception of CARIAD and the Volkswagen Group as important stakeholder.
Focusing on regulatory required data sharing (GVO) and anonymized vehicle data we are at the heart of business critical and future data business models.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Closely collaborate with tech teams, legal, strategy and other business teams (Brands, …) to transform the specific input in a future proof, feasible and value adding Data Product portfolio
- Responsibility for establishment, continuous development and alignment of a data use case portfolio as a Business Owner
- Prepare decisions for new data use cases by ensuring availability of business perspective (business case, strategic motivation, …), regulatory evaluation and convince the data holders (brands) and strategic stakeholders (K-GVO, Finance, CARIAD, ...) to grant their commitment
- Establish processes and responsibilities between internal stakeholders and brands to continuously improve existing and deliver new assets such as infrastructure and data products
- Mentor and lead the business team for a specific cluster of Data Products
- Ensure transparency and awareness for technological impact of regulatory / standardization initiatives and provide solutions and proposals to be integrated in external standardization and regulatory committees
WHO YOU ARE
- Passion to bring the existing data use cases on the next level with your expertise and proven track-record as Business Owner in an agile software / data focused environment
- Ability to convince, drive decisions and deliver business results as a Business Owner
- Experienced in working with the SAFe model (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Good overview and understanding of typical methods and tools supporting the processes to be implemented
- Proactive, supportive, structured, solution-oriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into this new organization
- High level of abstraction, analysis and structuring skills
- Fluent in writing and speaking German and English.
