For our client, a large data science consultancy firm, we are searching for a
Data Intelligence Strategy Consultant
for a project in the transport industry.
The job will be remote during Corona-times and then based in Frankfurt/Erfurt. The project language is German.
This is a two month project starting in August. Extension possible.

Project description:

As part of the IT digitization strategy, the CIO area is rebuilding the strategy for quality assurance and testing of IT software projects. Based on the results of the past months and various project data, an analysis of weaknesses is carried out to operationalize strategies with a focus on quality assurance, testing, automation, test data management and agile procedures, taking into account the IT strategies and digitization roadmaps of the group in order to generate significant added value for the business units and customers. This project will also lay the foundations for systematic test data management, both in terms of processes and methods, in order to make standards and good practices available to the projects and business units. The standardization process will also be based on a high degree of automation, which will be achieved by building up a CI/CD pipeline within the existing team. An essential part of this is systematic test data management, which must be integrated into the company's data strategy.

 

Project responsibilities:

  • Supporting strategic test management in the concept development and operationalization of topics along the strategic roadmap, with the focus on test data management strategies and preventive quality assurance approach based on the data management strategies of the CIO division and the group.
  • Survey and analysis of the current status of the test data strategies in the projects of the CIO department and derivation of measures for the implementation of a systematic, central test data management strategy.
  • Derivation of a roadmap to achieve a targeted and systematic test data management strategy for the CIO area in the future.
  • Extension of the "IT QA & Test Process" and the associated documents, which is currently being developed, to include the topic of test data management, taking into account the Group guidelines (especially handling of personal and personally identifiable data in testing), the corresponding ISO standards, CMMi and the EUDSGVo.
  • Development and provision of good practices on test data management and handling of test data in the project.
  • Development of a brownbag for project managers in the CIO area.
 

Must-have skills:

  • At least 5 years of know-how in QA and testing with a clear focus on test data management
  • Experience in strategy development of test data management strategies based on Data Learning and according to ISO 29119, ISO 25010 and the EUDSGVo
  • Knowledge of methods according to ISTQB, especially verifiable certificate "ISTQB Test Data Specialist
  • Proven very good experience in requirements analysis of test data, design of test data structures and creation or maintenance of test data
  • Experience in agile working methods, including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban - Communication skills at all levels of the company (from project staff to CIO)
