We are partnered with an exciting Software Development company who are looking for a Java Developer in their Bonn, Germany office!
Our client is a leading provider of tools required to create websites, use email & secure business online. They are a developer & operator of software platforms and provide web presence services to customers in over 250 countries.

The role:

 
As a Java Developer you will work in a cross functional and diverse team creating specifications and technical concepts for new features in cooperation with the development team and product management.

You will implement new features and enhancements for their software.
You will master the testing of the software and will be responsible for debugging the application.
You are the owner of the process so creating the documentation will be in your hands.

Skills/experience you will ideally have:

Bring experience with implementation of enterprise applications
Know very well how to implement 3rd party APIs and all the risks associated with the process
Have a strong knowledge in Java 8/Java EE8, with Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA
Understand the software lifecycle
Bring passion and motivation around software development, quality awareness, and a good sense of responsibility and ownership
Be able to communicate in German and English at an advanced level
Be an excellent team player with experience in agile development methods and tools
Ideally completed a degree in Computer Science (or comparable).
Bonus if you have experience with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS, Ajax
