Role: Head of Compliance
Location: Frankfurt
An American financial institution with arms in investment banking, capital markets, asset management and direct investing, is looking for a Head of Compliance to join its team in Frankfurt. With over $40 billion USD in assets and offices around the world, the firm is growing its German base. As Head of Compliance you will also be MLRO, running the Compliance functions as a one man/woman show and overseeing the AML/AFC framework.

As Head of Compliance You Will:

• Build and implement Compliance initiatives
• Have oversight over other European satellite offices
• Act as main point of contact with regulatory authorities including the BaFin
• Advise other corporate functions on all matters relating to Compliance
• Manage day-to-day operation of Compliance function
• Keep up-to-date with Compliance and Regulatory requirements
• Develop and conduct general compliance training for Front Office

As Head of Compliance You Have:

• Extensive regulatory knowledge and experience with regulatory bodies, including the BaFin
• Background in investment banking
• Proven experience with fixed income or equities products
• German and English fluency
