Expert Systems Pharmacology (m/f/d) YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Independently provide modeling and simulation contributions including the analysis of real world data for development projects from early development to market * Initiate and drive development and application of electronic health record derived real world data (RWD) analysis technology as well as state of the art systems pharmacological methods * Drive, either independently or together with the PML, model based drug development strategies in order to establish a model continuum by optimizing prospective studies, maximizing the use of available data including real world data and ensuring translation of pre-clinical into clinical information * Conceptualize and develop new methods for the analysis of electronic patient records derived real world data and/or in the field of systems pharmacology * Actively seek for new beneficial methods and approaches for SPM in the fields of systems pharmacology and data science WHO YOU ARE * University degree and PhD in (life) sciences, engineering, and/or mathematics with a focus on machine learning and/or systems modeling with experience in mechanistic modeling * Advanced knowledge in data analysis techniques and deep learning approaches desirable * Knowledge in tools and programming languages relevant for data science and systems biology such as R and Python * Expertise in a systems pharmacology or data science subtopic preferably with a respective publication track record * Assertiveness, team spirit and the ability to treat everyone with dignity, respect and fairness * Ability to take action on projects and look for opportunities to move projects along * High ability to solve problems and to structure and simplify complex tasks * Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken YOUR APPLICATION Are you looking for a new challenge where you can show your passion for innovation?
