Assistant Manager
TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH & TECHNICAL REGULATION COMPLIANCE INSPIRED BY YOU – YOUR TASKS
- Participate in the development of Mazda’s product and technology strategy for various areas of vehicle connectivity, with special focus on electric vehicle integration and related network and infrastructure aspects
- Contribute to the technology and the product development processes, product cycle plan and strategy processes for next-generation vehicles and technologies
- Proceed technology / innovation research and assessment, compiling benchmarking data, competitive and supplier information from the European market and academia
- Take responsibility as sub-team leader Vehicle Connectivity, including HMI and advanced operation
- Cooperate with the European certification & regulation team to identify and assess EU movements in vehicle connectivity and infrastructure areas
- Manage complex product-related issues and provide suggestions for improvements and prepare relevant comprehensive reports as well as analyses
- Support implementation of relevant policies, processes and systems
- Facilitate and coordinate workflows with external business contacts and participate in related discussions
PASSION MEETS POWER – YOUR PROFILE
- Degree either in Automotive or Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Relevant work experience in technology research with focus on vehicle connectivity and infrastructure area
- Good general knowledge of the European automotive market as well as awareness of the applicable statutory environment
- Strong analytical understanding
- First experience in leading small teams
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Valid driving license class B
- Good German and English communication skills and ability to integrate into a multicultural working environment easily
