Job Description EU ATS is a high-powered dynamic team which is shaping the middle-mile planning and execution, and developing and applying innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the Amazon Transportation network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time. EU TOM is looking for an experienced Transport Manager with a strong delivery record and operations experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional transportation operations. TOM team focuses on managing the yard and dock activities in the Sort centers and Fulfillment Centers across the EU. About the role You will be the responsible and accountable leader for owning the transportation associates in the MEU region. You will own all the operations, budgetary, people development targets for your functional areas, with the aim to optimize driver's performance and Linehaul load planning and efficiency through careful preparation and execution of the network. You will also lead the strategic part of the business for program growth and expansion. TOM team is the interface between Operations and the Supply Chain/Trans organizations. Responsibilities - Act as the responsible and accountable person in respect of the Operator License (O License) - Lead and train the team of Transportation Associates for your region - Install a performance culture in the team, instill ownership across the team, and overall, create a high-performing team - Analyze existing trucking and drivers capacity vs the required, especially to support peak - Ensure proper contract management and contract compliance for existing and new carriers/partners - Prepare and participate in Operations daily and weekly calls to communicate the performance to TOM leadership - Support and commit to all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates - Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools - Work closely with the support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and site leaders) and work closely with TOM Regional Managers to support projects and initiatives in their sites - Will require extensive travel within the MEU Region BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Degree qualified or 3+ years of Amazon experience - Holds CPC National and International - Proven experience in leading a busy and large-scale transport operation within a growing and rapidly scaling business - Strong leadership skills and experience managing people;

experience of people management and data-driven decision making - Prior experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques - High ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing priorities, to effectively prioritize, to multitask, and to use good judgment in pressure situations - Ability to develop creative and scalable solutions independently, and drive them from ideation to successful completion;

• Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively and influence the senior management - Business fluent in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's Degree or similar education in Operations Research, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar related discipline - MBA preferred
