we are looking for a modeling and simulation (m&s) expert in nonlinear structural and thermal analyses to join the m&s capability team within the health and grooming sector of p&g. working closely within the research & development (r&d) researchers and scientists and the process & engineering (p&e) engineers the task is to help driving new design directions early in the development phase of gillette products and processes. broad use of available virtual methods as well as development of new, efficient, multi-disciplinary m&s approaches describes best the daily impact of the role on the business. please also see our r&d homepage under to explore r&d at p&g in detail. job responsibilities:

you will be responsible to - create structural mechanics/thermal dynamical (fea)models of end use conditions and manufacturing processes that help drive design through simulations - understand design intent - identify and communicate technical risks - help refine concepts into reliable product and equipment designs qualifications job requirements:

you are a talented and highly motivated graduate from university, technical university you are passionate about technical and scientific curiosity your discipline is one of the following:

master program or phd in mechanical engineering, engineering mechanics, materials science or engineering, plastics engineering, aerospace engineering, physics or equivalent field. you fit perfectly to us if you. .. have passion for solving business problems through fundamental first principles have strong computer skills and proficiency in the application of mathematics and physics to problem solving are analytically capable with experience in developing and applying structural mechanics (fea) in their work and converting knowledge into practical applications have experience with or exposure to structural and thermal modeling tools (e. g. abaqus, ansys). qualifications:
