For our client , a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a Product Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)
Your role:
The vacant job is within the Supply Chain organization which has worldwide responsibility for 93K product supply chain management in terms of assurance of supply, cost and quality to meet customer requirements.The Product Sourcing manager represents the Supply Chain in cross functional product and project teams and drive Design for Supply Chain and collaborate with our external partners and suppliers to develop and ramp new products. They enable optimal utilization of the core competencies of our partners to achieve product objectives in the area of Cost, Quality, Availability and Time. He acts as an interface between product teams and supply chain team and suppliers.
Your tasks.
Provide inputs and requirements for supplier development and selection.
Ensures assurance of supply during whole product lifecycle.
Owns Supply Chain design for our products and successfully manages Product Life Cycle in terms of time to market, quality and cost
Managing supplier liabilities, reviews and mitigates excess and obsolescence risk
Drives new product material cost definition and achievement within cross functional teams
Is responsible for Supply Chain rollover from "old" to "new" product maximizing assurance of supply and minimizing excess exposure
Drives supplier & part selection based on approved vendor list
Represents Supply Chain within the NPI Project Team / NPI Engineering Team and acts as interface to the worldwide supply chain team / management
Escalation management if required
Active member of the worldwide procurement teams
Your profile:
At least Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, strong tendency to build up and utilize knowledge in business administration; Alternatively: At least Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a strong tendency to build up and utilize technical knowledge within the material commodity.
Sound project management skills
Superior communication skills (cross-functional, supply chain, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels
Fluent English language skills (verbal & written)
Understanding about Supply Chain flow with all involved parties (internal & external)
Strong self-management, sets proper priorities
Willingness to build up strong understanding of V93k product structure and dependencies
Product Life Cycle process knowledge
Strong coordination skills, ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
Proactive work style and ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
