Job Description Our EMEA Finance Center of Excellence is recruiting a Business Analyst to support our Cosmetic Europe Business Unit (BU) in its outstanding development. The aim of this role will be to support the organization to achieve further growth in the Personal Care market. This position will require a thorough understanding of the bills of materials, routings, labor costs, raw material cost, production drivers, and production variances. JOB DESCRIPTIONLocated in Geesthacht (Germany;Hamburg region), you will report to both the EMEA Finance Director and the Cosmetic Europe Controller and will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the integrity of products costs;
- Being the primary Business Partner for the Operations team in order to identify opportunities to improve absorption and yield management, and to support the process engineering initiatives;
- Running the weekly sales forecast preparation - Supporting the Sales Director with cost simulations for appropriate pricing when quoting new businesses;
- Supporting the Financial Director with reports and analysis for the Budget and Closing processes;
- Reviewing inventorymanagement (cycle count programs, slow moving initiatives, ...)Regular travel to our manufacturing facility in Paris area (France) are to be considered (up to 20%). PROFILESolution provider, your interpersonal skills enable you to position yourself as a real Business Partner. Thanks to your leadership skills, you will be keen on converting your analysis into operational actions. Business oriented, you will become a key interlocutor in the decision-making process and the real right-hand of the Financial Director. SKILLS - Strong analytical skills in cost accounting. - Fluent English, advanced notions in French is a plus - Expert in Microsoft Excel and in mass data manipulation. Computer literate and functional in the use of integrated business systems. Previous experience with JD Edwards is a plus. - Highest standards of accuracy and precision;
CPA or CMA preferred. - Three + years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with experience in a manufacturing environment. Extensive involvement in budgeting, forecasting, month end reporting and inventory valuation.
