Job Purpose

To take ownership for delivering accurate and informative management and financial reporting to the financial controller and finance director to facilitate business decision making. Develop and deliver more efficient and robust processes and controls to enable the business to operate more effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for international entities. Currently operations in Poland, Romania, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Work with the banks, management and other key stakeholders to ensure the entities are operating as required. Provide support for the opening and closure of any overseas entities;
• Ensure adequate process documentation exists across the finance function and provide advice to accounting other team members on updates;
• Control environment. Ensure that a strong internal control environment exists across the group, seeking continuous improvements in productivity and accuracy of transaction processing and accounting. Manage working with internal audit review of control environment;
• Involvement in accounting updates across the group - Regular review of the company's accounting policies together with the GFD;
• Provide a key point of contact to the GFD and other accounting teams on technical advice and accounting papers;
• Actively manages net working capital and cash flow position across the group;
• Work with the FC to manage the year-end audit process for all entities, including all document reviews and ensure timely completion;
• Work with external contact point, on corporate tax to ensure tax compliance calendar is being met;
• Provide a key point of contact to US parent accounting team;
• Own the production of monthly management accounts for your entities in a timely manner, updating reporting and commenting on key variances to forecast

Candidate Criteria

The successful candidate must have an ACCA/ACA qualification with 3+ years of experience. It is essential for you to have excellent financial modelling and Excel skills. With your strong communication skills both written and verbal, you are comfortable working with people from different teams across the business. You have a strong problem solving approach and are continuously striving for process improvements. You have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills are essential in this role.
