I'm currently working with one of the leading sports brand in the world, an exceptional company that is looking to add to their growing Digital Partner Commerce team. Within this team they are looking for a contractor that would work on a 6-monthly assignment. The project is part of a digital account attack to improve the eCommerce performance on digital selling platforms like their suppliers and Social Media (Instagram) and to increase the B2B sales share.
The individual will be consulting to identify the eCommerce performance by the 3 steps SEE, FIND and BUY, you will develop new initiatives and use your eCommerce expertise and market knowledge to develop new eCommerce initiatives.
Deliverables
Your role will be to implement digital shelf optimisation initiatives to improve the consumer journey for shopping of products on our partner platforms. Success is improved PDP views, conversion and reduced return rates.
Leverage output from diagnostic and identify immediate impact opportunities (i.e., product availability, site merchandising, product assortment) to optimise digital shelf for products on the platforms of our digital wholesale partners
Develop solutions to improve how and where our products show up in navigation, search, and connect to campaigns /comms
Increase on-site availability, page ranking and conversion (i.e., adding review syndication and increasing product reviews)
Consult Digital Partner Commerce Analytics to measure key performance metrics and quantify uplift / commercial impact based on enhancements
Provide direct inputs into Director Digital Partner Commerce Partner Development to advise in the creation of a playbook
Experience
Strong understanding of Digital Commerce with relevant experience in Digital Category Management/ Site Merchandising, Consumer Experience and/ or ranging / assortment planning
Ideally experience in analysing consumer demand and activity on the site / app, and capable of driving an optimisation agenda
Strong analytic interpretation, problem solving and influencing skills towards account / account teams
Advanced knowledge of Retail Management processes and understanding of the product life-cycles
Understanding of consumer search data pulling, testing and results tracking in eCommerce for targeted consumer search journeys
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with Markets and cross-functionally
Proficiency in MS Excel
