Technological advances enable unobtrusive integration of electronics, sensing and actuation capabilities in large surfaces (e. G. based on textiles), thereby driving this change further forward. Sensitive surfaces seamlessly integrated in natural materials will be an integral part of future user interaction. These surfaces can sense proximity, touch (gestures) and pressure

your task will be centred on the conceptual design and implementation of future user interaction based on sensitive surfaces, covering both automotive and residential applications. a primary focus will be on touch sensitivity esp. on large and curved everyday surfaces. capacitive touch sensing e. g. in smart phones has established a new expectation for the touch experience, and will be benchmark for future touch sensitive surfaces. * shape the future :

you will design and implement interaction concepts on sensitive surfaces, focusing on touch interaction. * be creative:
in a user-centred design approach, your concepts will come to live in our user research labs (e. g. smart life lab, driving simulator lab). * work interdisciplinary :

you will be part of the human factors research group of bosch corporate research and collaborate closely with different disciplines (engineering, computer science, user research, psychology). * observe, and think ahead :
