Hobson Prior are looking for a Global Product Manager to join a rare diseases organisation who are focused on accelerating the development of new orphan drugs. You will join them on a permanent basis in Rostock, Germany.Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable to define business- and product/service line strategy for your portfolio, incl KFS and differentiators.
- Develop corresponding R&D portfolio and roadmap as well as plans for business redesign (where necessary), and drive implementation.
- Manage product and service launches, including pricing, roll-out plans, trainings, marketing communications etc., as well as product phase-outs (full life cycle management).
- Developing global marketing and go-to-market strategies for your product portfolio, incl. regional variations and must-have commonalities.
- Responsible for supporting Sales in individual key account strategies and tender situations, represent business ownership in front of customers, together with Sales.
- Warrant trainings, roll-out and compliance, as well as repeated marketing campaigns.
- Monitor consistency/compliance of Production and Sales with what we want to achieve, and financial performance of your product or service line.
- Taking action where there are deviations from (financial and strategic) business plan.
Key Skills:
- Excellent English skills (oral and written) is a must, German skills (oral and written) is a plus.
- Ability to implement strategies based on market dynamics, economic goals and customer needs.
- Strong commercial orientation and excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and project management skills.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position in molecular diagnostics and product management.
- PhD or master's in medical genetics, molecular biology or a related field; Master of Business Administration is preferred.
- Good knowledge of the major trends and players in the market.
- Experience in oncology, neurological, metabolic or reproductive diseases is preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally, when necessary (up to 25% of time).
