Senior Project Manager German Speaking

My client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join a large power plant in Hamburg. You will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring a high standard of plant maintenance to ensure maximum plant availability. Your other responsibilities will include creating specifications, bid comparison, site order handling, site inspections, site installation and site commissioning.

The ideal candidate
must

have the following skills and experience:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with valves, turbines, gearboxes, conveyors, heat exchangers & piping.
• Ideally, solid knowledge of pressure systems safety regulations (PSSR), rotating plant and boilers, etc. and associated legislation (LOLER, PUWER, etc.).
• Knowledge of mechanical process plant maintenance gained in a heavy process industry, ideally power generation. Other industries such as chemical, refining and steel will also be considered.
• Fluency in German is

essential 

and working proficiency in English is desired.
This is a freelance position, offering a 12-month contract for a competitive rate. There is the possibility to work from home for 2 days a week.
