Role and Responsibilities

  • You will conduct data gap analyses and developing registration strategies in the European regulatory framework for the notification and authorization of plant protection products
  • You will design and monitor ecotoxicological laboratory and field studies
  • You will conduct ecotoxicological risk assessments and prepare dossier sections for registration purposes
  • You will review, evaluate and summarize scientific literature or study reports, and prepare expert statements
  • You will manage client projects in close communication and cooperation with our regulatory team, our clients and relevant authorities
  • You will participate at workshops and scientific conferences and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the area of regulatory ecotoxicology

Profile and Qualifications

  • You have an University degree in biology, agricultural or environmental science or equivalent; PhD degree would be a benefit
  • You have five or more years of relevant experience in ecotoxicological risk assessment
  • You have experience with study monitoring and a special focus on terrestrics and bees would be a benefit
  • Your experience in working with regulatory authorities would be a benefit
  • You have excellent language skills in English (spoken and written); German and additional language skills would be an asset
  • You are self-motivated and capable of functioning as an independent scientist while being able to work effectively in a team environment
