Due to their rapid growth, my client is looking for a field service engineer who can deliver high quality support alongside installing, servicing and repairing state of the art liquid handling instrumentation. The perfect candidate would have experience in a similar role, whilst demonstrating a high level of customer service to exceed customer’s satisfaction.
My client is an innovative manufacturing organisation who deliver robust and reliable instruments. With a strong portfolio of products, continuous innovation and rapid growth, they are now searching for a field service engineer to join their European team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with customers to ensure you solve technical issues
- Install, maintain and repair complex instrumentation in research labs, hospitals or pharmaceutical environment
- Develop technical training for the in-house technical support teams and the application scientists.
- Help train up customers in methods to best look after the instruments
- Maintain tools, spares, equipment and company vehicle in good condition; keep them secure and report any loss immediately.
- Responsible for reporting accurately and in a timely manner, all activities as required
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience working with complex liquid handling/lab automation equipment
- Experience working in the field in the bio-tech industry
- engineering qualification
- Willing to travel across the Europe with overnight stays when needed
- Great customer service
- Clean driver's licence
- Eligibility to work in EU
