Head of Global Regulatory Compliance (m/f/d)

Global leader and innovator in the industrial production is looking for Head of Global Regulatory Compliance (m/f/d) in Dortmund.

Your tasks:

• Leading the Global Regulatory Compliance team including functions in the area of Regulatory Affairs, Hazardous Substance Management, Toxicology
• Coordinating tasks of the team members considering internal and external resources
• Managing the legal register with focus on regulations which govern RCI production processes, the product portfolio and logistics
• In close cooperation with other departments: Maintaining and further developing the RCI compliance regime
• Developing and implementing strategies for regulatory activities
• Ensuring approvals of chemicals and organizing the required information and relevant documents
• Exchanging information with authorities as requested, e.g. in the context of REACH, (EC) No. 1907/2006
• Representing interests of our company in industry groups, including associations and consortia

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in chemistry or biochemistry
• Additional training and experience in the field of chemical regulations
• Relevant professional experience in the implementation of chemical legislation
• Ability to quickly familiarize with new chemical processes and the product portfolio
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English
• Profound knowledge in MS-Office and software in the area of Regulatory Affairs (e.g. IUCLID, SAP EHS)
• Excellent communication skills as well as independent, result oriented and structured working attitude
• High level of motivation and strong conceptual thinking
