Job Purpose
To grow the IDS business in EMEA (and globally) it is imperative that IDS is integrated into the financial ecosystem in the markets where it operates and is able to create a leadership role within them. This will ensure that brand awareness increases, local product requirements get understood ahead of need (e.g. regulation) and the sales team can be supported in meeting targets.Responsibilities
Identify and develop relationships with influencing groups within the relevant market - industry groups and regulatory bodiesWork with marketing and communications teams to identify optimal ways to develop ICE brand recognition
Understand specific market requirements (both current and future) and work with product teams to develop business cases for product development
Understand regulatory landscape impacting firms in market and engage with product team as needed to develop solutions
Develop relationships with senior market participants within specified geographic market to drive brand recognition and longer-term sales opportunities
Work closely with local sales teams to help develop sales growth strategies
Build market size metrics for all main IDS product lines
Work in conjunction with other ICE and IDS teams
Knowledge and Experience
Strong background in financial market data and data conceptsStrong understanding of current technology and future trends in financial markets
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Solid background in a similar relationship management or business development role
Strong presentation, written and verbal skills
Highly strategic thinker, ideally consulting or MBA background
Experience in business development
Fluent speaker for the relevant market (Germany or Nordics)
Knowledge of financial ecosystem in the market in question
Highly commercial outlook
