Your responsibilities

The team Finance Process Management is responsible for centralized functions that include maintenance and development of Planning and Consolidation solutions like BOARD and Hyperion Financial Management. It acts as an interface between Controlling, BI, Accounting and IT teams and provides essential services and support to all business divisions. Moreover, it is an important project initiator and leader within the international network.

  • Development and maintenance of the European Financial Planning processes within the existing BOARD Planning solution
  • Act as a contact person for technical questions about finance software solutions for all divisions and subsidiaries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships to all functional application experts and related cross-functional teams
  • Project lead for projects to roll-out new solutions or improve the existing tools (if applicable incl. budget responsibility, user training sessions and steering of external service provider)
  • Initiating new finance projects in cooperation with other divisions
  • Ensure and improve data quality in different financial systems (BI, HFM, BOARD)
  • Provide analytical support to internal stakeholders
  • Support of the monthly closing activities for all European subsidiaries and headquarters
  • Maintenance and further development of local and/or European finance processes including Plan and Forecasts

Your qualification

  • Successfully completed university degree preferably in industrial engineering and management, business informatics or business administration
  • Several years of experience in Finance/Controlling, Group Accounting or BI with an international company
  • Sound technical experience with analytical reporting systems
  • Experience with financial planning software (preferable BOARD)
  • Experience with business intelligence solutions (Qlik Sense, IBM Cognos or similar)
  • Experience with financial consolidation software (preferable Oracle EPM (HFM))
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL
  • Experience in SAP ERP system usage is preferred
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with project management
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills in combination with strong communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritise
