Job Description Company Description The Specialist, Indirect Taxes, based in Berlin, Dreilinden will support the daily indirect Tax EMEA activities. This position will be part of the Indirect tax team and will report to the Senior Manager, Indirect Taxes based in Dreilinden, Berlin. The position is temporary for appr. 6 months. Job Description The Specialist, Indirect Taxes will:

support indirect tax compliance aspects such as * collecting data out of SAP * verifying transaction in SAP and other subsystems * requesting and verifying invoices * validating reporting data for VAT returns * preparation of reconciliation between VAT filings and accounting data/financial statements (SAP, Tax reports and Balance Sheet) * Supporting VAT audit activities - collecting information and data, monitoring status and * maintain action lists * Supporting Senior Manager in projects - support preparation of presentations, summaries, memo´s * work with shared services team on VAT balance sheet reconciliations and account * verifications * Support maintenance of SOX documentation and preparation of process documentation * (process flows and supporting documents ) * Support creation of training materials (PowerPoint) for other functions and customers Job requirements:

• Familiarity with the indirect taxation (Umsatzsteuer) * Experience as Account or tax assistant (Buchhalter oder Steuerfachgehilfe) or similar * Experience with Shared Service Center as advantage * Basic knowledge of German VAT law * Familiar with accounting rules- (HGB - local German GAAP) * organization skills * Ability to handle multi tasks simultaneously * A great sense of accuracy Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
• 4 years as Account/tax assistant in a company or consultant/accounting firm * German and English is required * Familiar with accounting systems * SAP knowledge as an advantage * Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills Additional Information Thanks & Regards, Geeta Sharma Account Manager- Recruitment Infotree Service Inc
