DSJ are helping this Tier-1 Automotive client to secure multiple new professionals to strengthen both their Project Purchasing and Commodity Management teams. While their larger competitors are struggling with the automotive down-turn, this organisation is strategically developing their offerings for the higher end of the market, as well as long-term e-mobility developments. The Role:
- Purchasing responsibility for projects within the luxury Automotive customer base
- Leading supplier selection and benchmarking exercises for new components, ensuring optimization of BOM cost management
- Planning and execution of contract negotiations
- Co-operate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the project team i.e. Engineering, Quality
- Ensuring the timely and successful launch of new products, in conformity with customer specifications
Experience/Skills Required:
- Proven purchasing experience within the Automotive industry
- Ability and willingness to work with a high-mix of commodities
- Strong capabilities to communicate and collaborate effectively with other stakeholders, while positively championing purchasing
- Able perform effectively within a fast-moving environment
- Fluent German and English
