Mechanical Development

• Draft and detailed design of assemblies and single parts with CATIA V5 with respect to applicable design envelopes and assembly requirements
• Prepare manufacture documentation (single-part and assembly drawings, parts lists, flowcharts, and procedures), compliant with general and company standards
• Analyze design envelopes, define mechanical interfaces and create related drawings
• Support of design trade-offs in cooperation with other technical disciplines (Optical, Structural, Thermal and Electrical Engineering, etc.))
• Collaboration in the preparation of technical documentation
• Assistance in planning and supervision of manufacturing process

Your profile:

• Qualification as Technician or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Several years' experience in the field of mechanical design as well as profound knowledge of design methodology
• Knowledge of suitable manufacture processes to be applied for prototypes and small series
• Sound experience in CAD design with CATIA V5
• Fluent in English reading and writing
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Structured and target-oriented task approach
• Team player with excellent communication skills
