Position: Senior TRM Business Analyst

Location: Essen, Germany

Duration: 5+ months

 
As a Senior TRM Business Analyst, you will have a solid understanding of the issues and trends relevant to the energy trading industry. You will provide technical guidance giving direction on development, design, user interface, technology integration, and system architecture to realize groundbreaking technology solutions for our clients and play a key role in developing our Commodity, Physical Supply & Trading business.

 

Key Responsibilities

Designing and building solutions that transform our clients into top tech firms
Driving the adoption of microservices architecture, the latest development tools, frameworks and CI/CD technologies
Building or buying analysis and evaluation including a mix of CTRM system integration (e.g. Openlink/Endur, Allegro)
Integrating agile technology transformation initiatives that enable the biggest companies in the world to adopt startup-like, rapid release cycles on an Enterprise scale

Conducting workshops and client meetings to translate business requirements into system designs

Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a consultancy with focus on energy trading and risk management
Solid understanding of the energy/commodity industry end-to-end, crude oil, and refined products
In-depth knowledge of one of the following CTRM Systems – Openlink/Endur or Allegro with proven system implementation experience for a energy/commodities business unit

Strong Quality Engineering knowledge (e.g. Test Pyramid, Automated Testing)
Fluent in German and English language
Willingness to travel, as well as willingness to work on client site
