In addition to the Sales and Engineering teams, the central functions, such as the Purchasing Division, divisions of JIT’s operations, the Finance, Legal and Human Resources are also located here.
Your tasks:
The overal target is to establish suppliers and service providers to meet our customer needs and expectations. Job tasks are accordingly:- Accomplishes various purchasing assignments that are fairly complicated in nature
- Requires ability to understand service requirements and choose from several options
- Compares prices and makes vendor selections or suggestions
- Analyses and administrates policies and contracts
- Carries out RfQ’s, negotiates selected pan-European contracts with transportation and logistic companies
- Identifies problems and solves these without supervision
- Create statistics and analyses opportunities
- Prepares RfQ’s with statistical data, execute RfQ’s and prepares RfQ evaluation
- Follow up with suppliers and service providers on self initiative
- Assists divisional Purchasing in making sourcing decisions with regards to EXW/FCA or DDP/DDU
Your profile:
Apprenticeship in Forwarding business, experience with Freight Forwarding and LogisticsAt least 2 years of relevant working experience
Fluent German Language Skills and good level of Business English recquired
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Ability to work in a demanding and fast-pacing environment
