SAP Inventory Logistics Analyst (GER-08-001) Griesheim
The SAP Inventory Logistics Analyst is a member of the Global Logistics team at Zoetis and will be responsible for data analytics as it relates to inventory, shipments, stock transfer orders, and material movements. He/she will be the key point of contact for any discrepancies or system issues that may arise. This individual should also possess strong analytical and organizational skills to enable efficiencies and deliver actionable insights that will support long term growth. Experience in working with SAP in a pharma environment required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand end to end Make to Delivery processes in SAP, with tactical understanding of logistics transactions.
- Ability to create daily, monthly and ad hoc reporting that provides clarity to the overall health of the department/business and provides recommendations to improve inventory and general operations.
- Audits warehouse cycle counts to ensure a compliant program.
- Reviews all scrap requests for completion prior to approvals.
- Manage and recommend inventory levels based on data analysis, as well as potential floor layouts that would increase productivity in the warehouse.
- Enhance daily tier board metrics that support achieving business objectives with action plans for improvement.
- Monitors material movements and ensures proper execution which results in accurate inventory counts.
- Reconciles inventory variances through appropriate investigation and resolution.
- Responsible for master data maintenance as it relates to inventory and warehouse management.
- Communicate supply vulnerabilities and implement plans to insure continuity of supply.
- Reviews and supports the design of any software or hardware implementations in the Distribution Center.
- Create procedures and training to support the execution of standard job responsibilities on the floor as well as the cycle count program.
- Ensure compliance with Zoetis policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS with at least 5 years of experience.
- A good understanding of the Logistics/Supply Chain environment within a Distribution Centre.
- An understanding of GDP.
- Experience in diagnostics / medical devices or pharma.
- Nationally recognized professional certification preferred (APICS/CPIM - Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
Technical Skills
- Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong understanding of reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools/software.
- Understanding of the supply chain flow and the impact to the customer experience.
- Relevant planning experience in a Supply Chain and pharma environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
- Highly experienced in Excel and Power BI, with an analytical skillset capable of both identifying and quantifying requirements
- SAP Make to Deliver experience required.
