Your responsibilities

  • In the role of "Data Governance Manager" (m/f/d), you are developing, setting up and steering a master data governance framework at EMEA level, i.e. defining data dictionaries, data maintenance processes, rules and guidelines as well as standardization
  • You are implementing and coordinating a data governance organization at EMEA corporate level, incl. definition of data owners, business/data architects
  • You are aligning and coordinating the framework with global and similar functions from other regions in order to align with global strategies
  • You are steering data quality improvement initiatives, monitoring and reporting, incl. definition of KPIs
  • You are coordinating the proper set-up and maintenance of applications / systems required to support these activities
  • In the area of master data, you are assuring the match between operational process needs and data structure/availability
  • You are consulting project teams as gate keeper assessing the impact of the project activities on master data. You are participating in the project work as required
  • The main focus is on the data domain of business partner (customer / vendor)

Your qualification

  • You have experience in master data maintenance and master data related project experience
  • You have a good general understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • You are able to communicate business requirements to IT-experts
  • Your strengths include excellent analytical skills and strucutured thinking
  • You have a solution oriented mindset
  • SAP ERP experiences is mandatory, SAP MDG experience is an advantage
  • You have excellent communication skills and command of English – both written and spoken
  • Additional language skills are a plus
