Demand Planner/Manager

Our client is a hidden champion in the Food industry, currently experiencing an exciting amount of growth which has opened up an opportunity for an experienced Demand / Supply Planner to join their team in Frankfurt or Cologne.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Forecasting team to develop and uphold a 24 month rolling forecast
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer service in order to recognize noteworthy variances and then adjust the forecast accordingly
• Facilitate a successful IBP Process
• Work with and challenge Sales, Marketing and Finance to ensure that commercial plans are fully integrated into the forecast
• Regularly update production planning team with accurate item-level changes in the forecast
• Communicate updated Long Range Plan (LRP) assumptions to the Finance Department
• Use and maintain the Demand Planning software (SAP) as the primary forecasting system tool

Skills and Experience Required

• 3+ years’ experience in a Demand or Supply Planning function
• FMCG or Pharmaceutical background is ideal
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred
• SAP experience
