Operations Associate or Specialist - SAP Labs Network in Walldorf

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Labs are SAP’s core R&D entities, developing and constantly improving key SAP solutions. These research and development entities are strategically located in high-tech clusters around the globe and reflect SAP’s culture of diversity and innovation. Each Lab has a particular focus on specific applications, technology, or the market. With 20 Labs in 17 countries, The SAP Labs Network (SLN) drives thought leadership globally and in local ecosystems, allowing SAP to innovate, grow, and succeed.

To strengthen our position, the SAP Labs Network central operations team is looking for an operations associate or specialist to support operational effectiveness and communications. Responsibilities might include:

Support of global strategic and operational projects
Consulting and advising selected Labs on their daily business in enhancing innovative culture, growing employee engagement and strengthening their position in the ecosystem

Enabling best practices exchange between Labs all over the world in close collaboration with the Managing Directors (MDs) and COOs of the Labs.
The winning candidate must be passionate about working with different cultures and connecting people in new and creative ways.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Deliver transparent up to date data for business decisions, e.g. on Labs performance, innovation KPIs and employer branding – based on the analysis of internal & external sources

Support the R&D location strategy of SAP, strategically and from an execution point of view including defining and tracking KPIs for measuring success

Support process improvements across Labs, like people-related policies or programs, innovation-focused initiatives through constant benchmarking and collecting and sharing of best practices

Support the execution of communication & events

Remark:

due to the international set up of the team flexible working hours are expected

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

Bachelor’s / master’s degree or higher, ideally in Business Administration or Project Management
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Ability to work independently and with others in an effective and professional manner
Stamina for following-through projects to completion and multi-tasking under tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

Fluency in both written and spoken German
Experience in operations and project management
International and intercultural experience (work, internship, studies)

First experience or graduate.
