Your responsibilities
- Data Strategy: Responsible defining the data strategy for the existing data platform. Accountable for data architectural and data delivery designs
- Data Platform Ownership: Owns the data platform and is responsible for target architecture, used technology, platform performance and compliance
- Communication: Collaborates with Analytics, Data Science and MDM Leads on specific business requirements, prioritization, report progress, change and enablement
- People management: Recruit, train, develop and supervise resources within the Global Data team (6 direct line reports and 24 indirect line reports)
Your qualification
- Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, or related field (or an equivalent of the same in working experience)
- Long-standing experience in data architecture, data governance, data security, data strategy and roadmap, data archiving and data migration for global and complex organizations
- Experience of working in a senior BI/Data Analytics position within a global, fast-paced and complex business setting and in driving change within a large, complex organization
- Prior experience managing at least 2-3 teams
- Highly proficient in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and data technologies such as Azure Synapse, Matillion etc.
- Highly proficient in data modelling and in data platform ecosystems around CI/CD, test management, monitoring and security
- Self-motivated, pro-active and service-oriented; exceptional problem-solving and analytic skills; flexible mindset
- Excellent communication skills
