A position has recently become available for a Tax Compliance manager role at a market leading consultancy firm. This is an opportunity for candidates to join a dynamic, multifaceted team, operating in a forward-thinking and fast-paced environment.
You will ensure the organisation's compliance with both international and EU law, while leveraging Group Minimum Standards within the Tax Compliance sector. The ideal candidate will also draft, implement, monitor and update tax compliance-related guidelines.
Our client is one of the big four. The position would require you to relocate to either Munich or Frankfurt, where you will become part of an agile and dedicated team of skilled advisors, dealing with the innate minutiae of Tax Compliance.
Responsibilities – Tax Compliance
- Strong understanding of domestic German tax law
- Experience within the compliance auspice
- Ensuring budget transparency through the correct declaration of taxes
- Accounting, bookkeeping, meticulous record-taking
- Running and correct maintenance of tax compliance software
- Compliance with local accounting legislation, standards and reporting timeliness
- Delivering tax compliance services, related tax consulting services, while meeting the higher standards typically required by major multinational groups
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in either law, economics, or other similar social sciences
- Similar experience in related industries / in dealing with legal governance related matters
- Risk management experience would be a strong asset
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Fluent English and German, both written and spoken to a C1 minimum standard. Other languages would also be useful
