Job Description Our client, a leader in Healthcare Services, Education and Performance Improvement is currently in need of a Systems Security Administrator for their Fort Worth, TX facility. The Security Admin will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, implementation, training, and support of systems in response to the organization's security needs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience ensuring complex system security networks are protected against potential hacks. This includes maintenance and implementation of tools to secure highly sensitive data. *this is an immediate contract to hire opportunity with a solid organization providing a strong opportunity for growth and advancement. DAILY DUTIES * Perform audits of hardware, software, and firmware technologies for possible security vulnerabilities that impact the organization's information security * Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate system vulnerabilities * Work with other IT personnel to perform assessments of proposed architecture or implementations affecting the organization's security infrastructure components * Supervise the installation of new software and hardware to ensure compliance * Investigate intrusion and hacking incidents by collecting incident responses, and carrying out forensic investigations * Recommend risk mitigation techniques and appropriate configuration standards (Security Reviews) * Design procedures to automate repeatable tasks in security reviews * Provide comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for future system security enhancements * Assist in the coordination and administration of compliance with disaster recovery and contingency plans to ensure security is maintained in the event of an information system emergency or disaster * Assist in the creation, maintenance and periodic review of the organization's Information Security Policies and Standards * Stay current with new technology and advise on best practices * May be required to participate in 24x7 global support as needed based on on-call rotations REQUIRED SKILLS * Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering OR equivalent work experience * CISSP, CISM or CISA certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) * CCNP certification - desired * CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) - desired * 5+ years of experience in Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements, determination, development, and implementation (including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering) * At least 3 years of experience with network security using security monitoring tools to identify vulnerabilities in operating systems, perimeter and network devices, applications and databases * Experience with data communication protocols (i. E. TCP/IP) * Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols * Experience with troubleshooting unusual system behavior * Experience translating and documenting complex clinical and business workflows * Experience auditing technology and procedures to ensure compliance with information security and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA Genius Road, LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
