Stellenbeschreibung

• Develop global commodity strategy to achieve material costs savings through detailed analysis of the category portfolio, including global consolidation of spend across all geographical areas
• Work closely with cross functional teams in the development and execution of new material qualifications
• Aggressively pursue the strategy to ensure competitive advantage for the Nordex Group
• Manage strategy execution through close collaboration with the global Supply Chain and Manufacturing sites
• Negotiate conditions and global supply agreements with strategic suppliers
• Generate commodity intelligence and market knowledge for establishment in Organization
• Benchmark potential new and existing suppliers in all regions
• Report monthly KPI report for responsible commodity
• Manage supplier relation and contracts
• Monitor and master supplier performance
• Support Supply Chain teams of the manufacturing sites to achieve mutually agreed targets on supply safety, cost and quality
• Give cost forecast for responsible commodity
• Master supplier selection process in line with material group stakeholders

Anforderungsprofil

 

• 5+ years strategic sourcing experience in industrial environment
• Good at managing people networks
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Proven negotiation skills
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication with people from various cultural backgrounds
• Structured, systematic and transparent approach to business processes
• Good at prioritizing and staying calm under pressure in fast moving manufacturing operations
• Solution focussed mindset
