Business Analyst Payments (m/f/d)

As a business analyst, you will work in an agile development team in Cologne. Our clients are well-respected international software companies who sell their solutions via cleverbridge.

Your Responsibilities

Your task is to support the Payments and Clearing team in Cologne with comprehensively prepared data and thus to optimize the cooperation of the development and the business side. For us, this means among other things:

• Analysis of requests and workflows in our ticket system JIRA
• Payment Providers management through daily communication
• Support Product Owner on product backlog prioritization, product release management and external product launch
• Requirement analysis of various stakeholders (Sales, Account Management, Payment Operation Team, etc.) with regards to new payment methods and new features in our e-commerce platform (Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Payment Methods Characteristics, Customer Experience, etc.)
• Closely monitoring the payments KPIs and manage the whole Payment Product Lifecycle

Your Qualifications and Skills

• You have strong analytical conceptual skills
• You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new task areas and to explain even complex topics in an easily understandable manner
• You have successfully completed a university degree in business administration or business informatics or have a comparable qualification
• You have strong communication skills and empathy and can make yourself heard in a group
• You are familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally also with Visio.
• Knowledge of SQL, Jira and BPMN modelling is a plus
• 1-2 years’ experience as BA or payments background is a plus
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, fluent language skills in German are a plus
