And so Locke was born - distinctively designed hotels, firmly rooted in the local neighborhood and offering vibrant experiences and connections which nourish and enliven the soul.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead our new opening in Munich called WunderLocke a 360 key property, which is due to open in January 2021. The social spaces at WunderLocke will be a destination in themselves. The lobby area will feature a restaurant with all-day dining and bar, outdoor dining terrace, outdoor heated pool and pool deck, co-working space, large events space, wellness studio, sauna and changing rooms. The rooftop will feature a cocktail bar with views of Munich.

The General Manager is responsible for leading soulful hospitality through the team. We want you to curate experiences, lead your teams and astonish your guests.

In an (overly simplistic) nutshell our General Managers are;
  • Confident and creative individuals; they are as outgoing as they are passionate about what they do.
  • They have entrepreneurial mind-sets and endless curiosity, but most importantly, they are human like us.
We believe that the art of hospitality has suffered as hotel teams have been over-loaded with the complexity of revenue management and commercial targets. We free our hotel teams from this burden, and empower our Managers to deliver the brand, curate experiences, lead their teams and astonish our guests.

Our Managers don’t shy away from the fundamentals either; from H&S responsibility to cost control, to reports, SLA’s and SOPs – they’re all there but we manage them with soul.

When guests return home inspired, with stories to tell and discoveries to share, you will have been successful. They will come back more often and tell others. This will be the tale of Locke.
