HSEQ&S-Specialist

At the same time you will maintain an environmental reporting process and programs for environmental performance improvements. You understand the relevant occupational health and safety risks within the production, TechCenter and laboratory processes and support local sites. You are welcome to bring your previous experience and expertise to the team when developing HSE process and return of experience documents.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) program and reporting. Establish and follow-up programs for continual environmental improvement and reliable reporting together with local entities.
• Management of the allocated range; responsible for global Health,Safety and Environmental tasks
• Maintain, develop and communicate heath, safety, environmental, security standards, processes and return of experience documents on a corporate level
• Optimization of processes and their interaction with the corporate functions, production sites, TechCenters and regional/local HSEQ&S managers
• Ensuring the implementation of the defined programms, measures and regulatory requirements
• Advice and support for the Atotech units, customers, authorities and external affairs officers in area of responsibility
• Data analysis, reporting and anlalysis of incidents, including further delevopment of the HSE reporting system and the performance indicators
• Planning and conducting of assssments and audits
• Preparation of training materials and presentations; conducting workshops and trainings on topics of the workplace
• Identifying HSE&S risks in labs, TechCenters, production, handling, transport and storage as well as customer service regarding occupational safety-related issues, including proposing measures to minimize risk
• Follow-up and communication of travel securtiy information

Your skills & competences

• University degree in chemistry, engineering with chemistry focus or a similar qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Training as a safety expert (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit), Safety Management Systems (e.g. ISO 45001) is desirable
• Expertise and experience with regards to ESG reporting
• Native speaker / very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, communication and presentation skills, ability to work in a team, analytical thinking, flexibility, independence, ability to work under pressure, flexibility and service orientation, intercultural competence
