BASF 3D Printing Solutions GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF New Business GmbH. Within structures similar to those of a startup, we serve our customers in the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries in a dynamic market. We build the business in materials, system solutions, components and services in the 3D printing segment and work closely with the global research platforms and application technicians of BASF.

What you can expect

Support our virtual engineering team in tool automation projects.

• You will analyze the state of art automation and multi-disciplinary optimization (MDO) tools as well as the engineering software available at our company.
• Furthermore, you will design as well as write scripts to automate standard tasks and evaluate further potential for automation.
• You will work self-organized on projects, report to the supervisor and present as well as discuss the results within our engineering team.

What we expect

• You are currently studying engineering, IT, physics, mathematics or a comparable field.
• Additionally, you are well experienced in the development of algorithms and programming, ideally with Lua and/or Python and/or C++.
• You have profound knowledge in IT infrastructure as well as system landscape.
• Both in German as well as in English you can communicate and drive sustainable solutions within the team.
