Supervising the day to day activities of a team of three, the FinanceLead for the DACH regionwill provide financestewardship forthe group'sbusinessin Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Maintaining strong and ongoing relationships with the Centre of Excellence (Accounting) team in the UK and Shared Service Centers located in Bangalore and Bismarck is a crucial part of the role. This role also includes fiduciary roles across these countries and being the face of the business to third parties (eg banks, tax authorities). The Finance Manager will report to theEMEA RegionalController and participates in local management meetings. The Finance Manager is responsible for the following:

• Monthly and quarterly US-GAAP close * Prepare & analyzegroup reporting information;

the Quarterly Accounting Reviews, Balance Sheet reviews and Cash flow reviews * Work with third party providers to ensure the on time and accurate filing of local statutory financial statements and tax retr * Prepare and support the tax accounting and formal tax filings for 2 legal entities * Other local requirements for filings and legal compliance activities within the responsibility of finance * Prepare & analyze business forecast and analysis * Provide revenue recognition guidance as per US-GAAP for major deals * Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and policies (i. E. SOX) * Support Cost Control, Statutory and other projects * Continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes You will be successful in this role if you have:

The successful candidate should have significant professional experience working within the finance function of a multinational organisation, ideally within technology or similar field. He/she will have ideally started their career in a major corporate or big 4 accounting firm, with subsequent financial management experience in mid-sized businesses and/or consultancies, so that he/she can be effective working in an organization of this size. * Educated to degree level in finance/accounting and/or achieved a professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) * 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably gained within a US multinational (USGAAP/IFRS knowledge) * Able to apply US GAAP and Unisys Financial Manual policies (including revenue recognition) * Able to review and assess complex accounting entries, processes and report * Constantly seeking to improve administrative and controlling processes and drive efficiency * Affinity with Tax accounting * Ability and capacity to become a sparring partner of thelocal management team and the Sector or Vertical Business leader * Experience with financial IT applications(Oracle and FCCS an advantage) and proficient in Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Hands on self-starter with a team player attitude. Willingness to grow & learn continuously * Outstanding communication skills * Experience of managing a team based in disparate locations * Fluent in German and English
