YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ▪ Characterization of biotherapeutics using mass spectrometry (intact mass and peptide mapping workflows)
▪ Development and optimization of mass spectrometry-based methods, e.g. for intermediate and final product analysis
▪ Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to customers, business partners and colleagues

▪ Scientific and technical troubleshooting as well as maintenance of HPLC and MS devices
▪ Continuous improvement of laboratory processes as well as evaluation of alternative technologies when expanding the range of MS method spectrum
▪ Effective use of synergy effects with and in exchange with other specialist departments
YOUR PROFILE
▪ PhD or Bachelor‘s/ Master‘s degree with a min.of 5 years of work experience in the field of (bio)-analytical chemistry or related with recent and extensive research laboratory experience

▪ Solid background in the field of LC-MS analytics (method development, practical implementation and data evaluation)
▪ Experience in the field of protein science/ biochemistry as well as LC-MS analytics of proteins would be an asset
▪ Enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams as well as excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of German is an advantage)

▪ Practical work experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset
