Join our Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Development Programme, and you will play a vital role in delivering on promises to customers whilst achieving the highest quality standards. This is work that you can be genuinely proud of. The programme Our Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Development Programme will prepare you for a career like no other. You'll be based in one of our businesses, so you can expect to gain an end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing engineering in the Civil or Defence Aerospace sector. That knowledge will be gained as you work on live projects during three four-month placements in different teams that introduce new products, develop and implement new technology and focus on continuously improving products and processes. In addition to these placements, you'll partner with your fellow graduates in integrated project teams to deliver your own design and manufacture project, working to solve a real business issue. To enable you to build your own networks, these placements are typically delivered in different teams and locations. Along the way, you'll undertake comprehensive training and be supported by line managers, career coaches and your own development consultant to help you develop your career. What you'll do Manufacturing Engineering places a big focus on teamwork. It means you'll be collaborating with great minds in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Expect to take on real responsibility as you introduce major pieces of equipment, develop efficiency-improving manufacturing systems or tackle continuity threats. It could be that you're integrating activity for manufacturing launch plans, helping our suppliers develop more efficient methodologies and introducing new process specifications. It's complex and challenging work that will get your career off to a great start. What you'll need Technical abilities are a must, so you'll need at least an above average master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or a relevant Physical Science, or equivalent qualification. You should be a great team player too, with excellent communication skills, real flexibility and plenty of initiative. Finally, your inquiring mind, resourceful and resilient approach means you'll relish the opportunity to solve complex problems and share your ideas. You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written and ideally you have experience in the manufacturing sector from an internship or a seminar paper.
