IT Project Junior Consultant m/f/d in Walldorf

Summary & Role Information

The LSM is part of IT Operations and will evolve to provide services around system landscape provisioning to funnel the decision-making process in the context of system deployment. Focus topics within this service management task are validation/ verification of new service requests, service architecture review, planning of required architectural and infrastructure changes, capacity planning, CAPEX and OPEX planning, and finally the handover and collaboration with the Cloud Infrastructure Service Management team for hardware planning and ordering.

Role Requirements

Degree or Master in computer science/engineering or related work experience
Fluent in English and German
Technical consulting for SAP internal IT projects
Orchestration of Tenant Ordering Request
Evaluation of new customer requirements and change management
Key contact for new service requests and major service changes
Regular review of new service requests and significant service changes
Drive the cost calculation of new services and service changes
Support and Review of quarterly IES Portfolio Planning
Reporting on current services using dashboards
Drive the transition of new services into operations
Excellent coordination and organizational skills

Work experience

We are looking for (soon to be) graduates with maximum up to 2 years of work experience
Familiarity with price calculation of IT solutions is a plus
Experience in working with global and diverse teams is a plus

Within the Intelligence Enterprise Solutions (IES), IT Operations provides all main IT backend services for all IT users within SAPs transformation to an intelligent Enterprise by shifting the focus from maintaining highly adopted environments to standardized environments with short provisioning times in a Hybrid Environment, connecting products and solutions deployed from on-premise or on hyperscalers with those running on PaaS or SaaS solutions.
