You’ll join more than 5,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. YOUR TEAM
We are building the leading tech stack across various domains that will enable automotive mobility that is safer, more sustainable and more comfortable for millions of customers globally.We will create one unified software platform for the Volkswagen Group. With the VW.os we are working on a uniform, standardized embedded operating system for more than 10 million Volkswagen Group vehicles per year. VW.AC, an automotive cloud, builds up a globally networked, cloud-based ecosystem for our cars. With our AI and machine learning capabilities we will be able to make use of the vast amount of data to make automotive mobility safer, more comfortable and more sustainable.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage classic and adaptive AUTOSAR product portfolio for the basic software main features (e.g. operating system, communication, diagnostic and health management)
- Clarify requirements and SW concepts to optimize the VW.os implementation to be integrated into high end embedded systems
- Align with release train and solution level regarding technical concepts and PI planning
- Prioritize and steer product development in classic and adaptive AUTOSAR team(s)
- Manage external supplier and align product roadmap with customer needs
- Deliver your product into multiple solution trains
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Always keen to challenge the status quo in order to develop and deliver an efficient and quality SW
- Experience in complexity management fields like system configuration, compatibility and variance management
- Extensive experience in embedded software & system engineering, classic AUTOSAR knowledge is a plus
- Ability to resolve conflicts and mediate, independent and systematic thinking
- Experience in leading distributed agile teams and supplier management
- Fluent English language skills (spoken and written), German language skills are a plus
