Senior Risk Consultant - Energy Industry

This company is a leader in providing sustainable solutions and digital transformations to energy traders and Stadtwerke, and they are looking for senior consultants to represent them in the German market. You would join the Consulting department on projects involving Market Risk, Pricing and Credit Risk, whilst also strengthening the independence of municipal utilities.

As Senior consultant, you will:

• provide Risk advisory support for energy traders and municipal utilities
• engage in Risk projects that deal with market- and credit risks in electricity and gas
• Advice on reporting tools in cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders
• Independent development of risk management concepts in risk guidelines as well as support in operational implementation

As Senior consultant, you will bring:

• Degree or equivalent in a financial, econometric, or engineering field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a Risk Management consulting environment
• Previous exposure to the German energy market
• Fluent German speaking
