Sales & Marketing Manager - Electronics

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure sales & marketing strategies for HPM products and services within defined region in U.S. and Canada.
• Introduce and execute strategic market unit goals in collaboration with global HPM sales & market unit managers to ensure growth.
• Participate in team meetings (manufacturing review, MRB, sales, marketing, etc.) as required to facilitate market unit goals.
• Increase customer base by initiating contact with prospective customers for adding new technical capabilities and diversifying product offering.
• Travel 50% of the time to increase sales within market unit.
• Partner with Inside Sales group and provide product knowledge to ensure accurate and competitive quotes resulting in secure orders at target margins.
• Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, sales meetings and periodic visits to headquarters in Austria and other Plansee facilities throughout the world as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Five to seven years’ industrial sales and marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in semiconductor/electronics sector.
• Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of SAP R/3 sales module desired.

• Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication skills as well as effective interaction at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Proven leadership abilities, organization and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and prospects.
• Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and solutions.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.
• Ability to meet requirements to work on ITAR-restricted projects.
