The Power Grids business delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.

You as a Global IS GRC Senior Professional, will be part of Power Grids business and reporting to the Global IT GRC Manager. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective IT internal control system. Implementation of a methodology that ensures compliance to internal (i.e. policies) and external regulatory requirements (e.g. J-SOX, SOX). Ensuring that different Cluster IS organizations are adequately trained, supported and driven to meet these requirements. Ensuring that related parties, including internal and external auditors as well as local / cluster functions, especially ARIC (Internal Control) are always aligned.

Your responsibilities

  • Annual SOX / J-SOX Compliance : Ensuring global PG methodology for Internal Control over Financial Reporting is followed.
  • Managing annual SOX / J-SOX testing: Ensuring test plans are up to date and accurate and testing is scheduled & executed according to global requirements.
  • Ensuring testing resources are trained according to global requirements. Coordinating testing activities with local business process owners (BPO).
  • Ensuring deficiencies and remediation are reported and progressed in a timely manner.
  • Driving, training and supporting all local units and process owners to achieve SOX / J-SOX compliance.
  • Ensuring process documentation is accurate, up to date and can be applied to legal requirements/regulations and standards like ISO.
  • Ensuring process designs are reviewed as required.
  • Ensuring appropriate reporting of relevant processes, applications and controls (in GRCM Tool). Ensuring external auditors are engaged and aligned where appropriate.
  • IS Compliance: Providing compliance support to country / cluster IS personnel including IS policies.
  • Escalating and managing local compliance issues where required.

Your background

  • Graduate level in technology discipline preferred.
  • Understanding of IS operational processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Audit or IS Process certification preferred (CISA, CISM, ITIL etc.).
  • Project Management Skills.
  • English and German: Fluent oral and written, other languages useful
