Cone Crusher Expert Development Manager

We are representing a Global, multi-billion manufacturing group which due to continued success and expansion, are seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Cone Crushing Division.

This senior level role will involve assisting in developing strategy which will help the company achieve the highest specification possible on this product of Cone Crushers while managing a technical team of engineers and product developers

The company provide a range of aggregate and mining processing products and support services across Crushing & Screening.
We are seeking those with Cone Crushing knowledge across Europe. Location is open.

Role:

• You will be responsible for the design, development and construction of cone crushers
• You will take over the technical leadership of a cone crushers development team
• You will accompany the entire development process from the creation of the functional and requirement specifications to the design, prototype construction, field tests and series production
• You will develop concepts, calculate components and calculate costs
• You will communicate with internal and external development partners and suppliers in an international environment
• You will monitor the costs, deadlines and quality of your projects and present results within the development team and to decision-making bodies
• You will consider all manufacturing and assembly-relevant requirements and therefore you are in close contact with the production department
• You will work on changes and complaints and deal with technical application questions

 Requirements:

• You will have a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent academic education
• You will have several years of professional experience in the development and design of cone crushers
• You are an expert in crushing chamber and wear part geometry and understand the relationships between geometry, dynamics and process engineering in cone crushers
• You have knowledge of the Symons and Gyratory principles prevailing in the market and you can evaluate these fundamentally
• You have sound knowledge of the design of bevel gears, plain bearings and the lubricating oil circuit within the cone crusher
• You have sound knowledge of technical mechanics and strength theory
• You have basic knowledge of hydraulics and control technology
• You are experienced in working with a 3D CAD system (preferably UG NX)
• You are ready for short business trips and speak very good English
