Composite Design Engineer
Composite Design Engineer required for my automotive client based in Germany on a ongoing contract basis
The right Composite Design Engineer will have the following responsibilities -

• Responsibility for design projects and undertake the concept scheming and designing of composite components or assemblies
• Ensuring on-time delivery within agreed cost limits
• Generating details specifications of various composite components as well as associated component testing
• Responsible for producing designs (including any associated tooling, jigs, patterns or moulds), drawings and lay-up books

The right Composite Design Engineer will have the following skills -

• Have a Master/Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Display sound knowledge and hands-on experience of carbon composite design technologies and laminate definition, including structural components and crash structures
• Be proficient with CAD (Catia V5: solids, surfaces & drafting, CFD/CPE), data management systems (Teamcenter) and MS Office
