You are responsible for the3D CAD modelling of electronic and magnetic components

you develop a3d fem model for the thermal simulation of an electric power converter. * structured evaluation:
besides you evaluatedifferent thermal designs and heat spreading methods by 3d fem simulation in thermal domain. you also validate simulation models and results. * implement holistically:

last but not least you prepare technical reports and documentation. qualifications * education:

studies in the field of mechanical, aerospace or electrical engineering * character:

team player with good communication skills who is willing to learn and goal-oriented * working practice:
able to work in a multidisciplinary team and to analyze complex technical problems and demonstrate creative thinking which leads to development of innovative concepts. * experience:

good command of 3d cad software, experience with fem simulation (ansys mechanical or equivalent) in thermal domain is preferable * knowledge:
solid understanding of heat-transfer and thermodynamics and ideally fundamental understanding of electric power converters and electronic components * enthusiasm:

interest in advanced thermal management concepts for electronic packaging * languages:
