Head of Manufacturing (m/f/d)

Position

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and visionary individual to join our team as the Head of Manufacturing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational tasks to ensure the success and growth of our organization.

The role lies at the intersection of Production, Economics, and Manufacturing Technology. The continuous challenge is to efficiently produce a diverse range of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic while meeting the required quality and regulatory standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term manufacturing strategy that aligns with market demand and corporate objectives
• Represent Manufacturing in the Management Team and contribute to the development of the Strategy
• Create and implement business processes to transform research projects into marketable products
• Initiate improvement projects in Manufacturing, to enhance operational effectiveness
• Implement and uphold the SHE policy, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
• Establish and maintain a personnel development process to ensure the right mix of skills, talents, and successors within the workforce
• Lead the Make or Buy Decision Process to optimize manufacturing capabilities
• Oversee the implementation process for capital expenditures and drive the digitalization & automation process

Qualification & Competences

• Completed academical studies with scientific or engineering background in life sciences
• Complementary education in business administration and leadership is advantageous
• At least five years of experience in a leading manufacturing position in the life science industry
• Profound knowledge of project management with successful research and/or project management experience in an industrial environment
• Hands-on with GMP and certified environments
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to implement strategic objectives
• Proficiency in managing organizational changes while maintaining a focus on business objectives
• Skilled in driving decision-making processes and managing risks
